There are many versions of Raw mango pickles and in most cases it makes for a very tasty recipe, which is easy to execute. Ditch those store bought pickles and make this mango delight yourself.

Preparation

Step 1 :

In a pan, add water and salt, boil for 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 2 :

Next, pour the water over the chopped mango and keep aside.

Step 3 :

Now dry roast fenugreek, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing.

Step 4 :

In a blender add roasted spices along with turmeric, hing and keep aside.

Step 5 :

Add oil in a kadai, add red chillies and roast for 2 minutes, transfer to the same blender.

Step 6 :

Add this powder to prepared pickle masala and mix well.

Step 7 :

Store 5 hours or 1 day, serve with paratha or rice.
