Preparation
Heat the milk in a pot on a low flame. Add one tablespoon of sugar. Keep whisking it. Heat it until little bubbles form. Switch off the flame.
In another bowl, beat egg yolks, sugar and corn starch until homogenized.
Pour half of the milk into the egg mixtures. Mix it well.
Pour the egg mixture into the pot. Heat it on a low flame and keep whisking it until it thickens (6-8 minutes).
Switch off the heat. Strain the vanilla custard into a clean bowl. Cover the bowl with a cling wrap and cool it down for 2 hours in the chiller.
After 2 hours, remove it out from the chiller. Whisk it. Place it in the freezer overnight.
When the custard is in the freezer, remove it out after 3-4 hours and whisk it in order to break a little part of ice crystal. Other options are blend it in the blender. Freeze it overnight in the fridge.
Assembly of banana cheese sandwich
Spread some margarine/butter on the white toast bread.
Toast/bake it in the pan/toaster until both sides are golden brown.
Slice the banana into two. In a pan, heat some butter and place the bananas on the pan. Grill the banana for 2 minutes. Transfer it out the plate.
In a plate, place the toasted bread, top it up with grilled bananas, place the slices of cheese. The cheese will start to melt.
Top it up with the scoop of homemade ice cream.
Sprinkle some chocolate flakes/chocolate sauce.
Banana Cheese Sandwich is ready.
