Red Sauce Pasta

Red sause pasta is a dish which is liked by people of all age. The best thing which I like about the dish is that it can be easily made at home with your usual kitchen spices. This dish gives the aroma, taste and texture just like the pasta we buy from our nearby markets. Just try it and you will love it. For more flavours you may add some cheese into it as well.

Preparation

Step 1 :

Boil 1 bowl of pasta in a pressure cooker with 1.5 cup of water and 2 tablespoon of olive oil, let it boil until first whistle blows, remove the vapours and open the pressure cooker.

Step 2 :

Drain all the hot water and then add some normal water in it so that our pasta do not stick to each other, again drain the water.

Step 3 :

Now chop 5-6 onions in small dices and 3 tomatoes in small dices.

Step 4 :

Heat 4-5 tablespoon oil in a pan and add 1 tea spoon of cumin seeds in it, after 1 min add the chopped onions in it and stir until it gets a reddish brown colour.

Step 5 :

Next add tomatoes and mix well for 4-5 minutes, then add all spices starting with salt 1tablespoon, then 0.5 tea spoon red chilli powder, a pinch of tamarind powder and 2table spoon of pasta masala, mix well so that spices flavours get mixed in the dish and spread their essence

Step 6 :

Add 2-3 tablespoon of water and heat it for 2-3 minutes, next goes in the boil pasta in the pan

Step 7 :

Mix them well and add 0.5 teaspoon of garam masala and 0.5 teaspoon of chat masala in the pasta

Step 8 :

Our pasta is ready to serve. Put it in a plate and garnish with coriander leaves and tomato ketchup.
