A twist on the classic American Hot Dog - juicy, flavourful and a party in your mouth!

Ingredients

1 Chorizo Sausage 1 Hot Dog Buns

Half Onion 3 Jalapenos

2 spoons Lime Juice 100 gm Peanut

50 gm Mango 1 to 2 Chipotle Pepper

5 Cloves Garlic 50 gm Butter

1 teaspoon Brown Sugar Salt to taste

50 gm Cheddar Cheese

Cooking Steps

Preparation

Step 1 :

Dice the onions, mangoes and jalapenos.

Step 2 :

Caramelise the onions and jalapeños in butter.

Step 3 :

Roast the chipotle pepper and peanuts.

Step 4 :

Grind the mango, garlic, chipotle pepper, brown sugar and roasted peanuts together, while adding lime and salt.

Step 5 :

Grate the cheddar cheese.

Step 6 :

Fry the chorizo sausages in the pan used to caramelise the onions.

Step 7 :

Brush the hot dog buns with butter and place the sausages (sliced down the middle) in the centre.

Step 8 :

Top the sausages with the caramelised onions and jalapeños.

Step 9 :

Drizzle the arrangement with the mango and peanut sauce.

Step 10 :

Top the hot dog with cheddar cheese.

Step 11 :

Serve hot.
