Transfer the pizza dough on a clean flat surface and spread it a bit using hands.
Step 3
:
Add a tablespoon of butter and the chopped garlic to it. Mix well and knead the dough just for a while.
Step 4
:
With the help of some dry flour, roll out the dough into a big log.
Step 5
:
Cut it into equal sized small portions with a knife.
Step 6
:
Roll each portion and stretch it into a 6-8 inches long strip. Don't make it too thin.
Step 7
:
Stuff it up with the grated cheese. Once stuffed up nicely, close it from both the sides flipping inside and pinching the edges together.
Step 8
:
Now form a log again and roll it slightly on an even surface. Carefully tie a knot and repeat the same for other portions.
Step 9
:
Place them on a butter paper lined baking tray and cover them with a lid. Let them rest for another 30 minutes.
Step 10
:
After they have puffed up nicely, brush them with some butter and place them in an oven for baking at 180°C until they turn golden brown.
Step 11
:
While they are baking, prepare the butter spread. Take the remaining butter in a sauce pan, heat it over medium high heat, add in the parsley, oregano and the red chilli flakes. Mix well and switch off the flame after 1 minute.
Step 12
:
Check the knots. Once done, take them out of the oven and while they are still warm, brush the butter spread onto them and serve.
