This festive season indulge in the yummy flavors of Plum Cake with Custard.

Cooking Steps

For Cake

Step 1 :

Pre heat the oven to 160 degrees C

Step 2 :

Combine Butter and sugar in a bowl

Step 3 :

Add eggs to the bowl and whisk it nicely

Step 4 :

Sieve the flour and fold in the bowl.

Step 5 :

Add assorted nuts and raisins and ground spices

Step 6 :

Add few drops of vanilla essence.

Step 7 :

Transfer mixture into prepared tin and bake in for 30 to 45 mins.

For Custard

Step 1 :

Take 2½ table spoons (25g) of Brown & Polson Custard Powder in a bowl.

Step 2 :

Add 125 ml milk from ½ litre milk pouch to make a smooth paste.

Step 3 :

Boil the remaining milk (375ml) with 4 table spoons (50g) of sugar. Mix well & remove from the flame.

Step 4 :

Then add the paste & cook again for 2- 3 minutes. You don't want to burn this so keep stirring. Let it cool.

Step 5 :

Pour the custard over warm plum cakes and enjoy.
