Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

In a mixer, grind oats into a fine powder.

Step 2 :

Now take a bowl, add oats powder, rava and rice flour to it.

Step 3 :

Mix all the ingredients well together. Ensure there are no lumps left in the powder.

Step 4 :

Add yogurt and water to the batter to thin it down. Make sure to use a whisk to whisk the batter to prevent lumps. The batter should be a thin consistency, thinner than a normal dosa batter.

Step 5 :

Allow the batter to sit for a little while to make it thicker. If yes, then add more water to keep the consistency thin.

Step 6 :

Add chopped onions, green chillies, grated ginger, crushed cumin, coriander leaves, chopped curry leaves, fresh grated coconut, salt and pepper. Mix all the ingredients well together.

Step 7 :

Next, heat a tawa and add oil to it. Once heated, fry a soup spoon full of batter.

Step 8 :

Allow the batter to cook for 2-3 minutes, once the edges turn brown in colour, switch off the gas.

Step 9 :

Serve these hot with chutney.
