Muthsore is a traditional South Indian sweet, specially prepared for festive days like Ganesh Chaturthi.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

You can use rice, moong dal, and urad dal flour or rinse rice, moong dal and urad dal separately, allow them to dry. Blend them separately into fine powders.

Step 2 :

Mix the above powders to a common base, add hing, salt as per taste and 3 tsp of hot cooking oil.

Step 3 :

Mix these ingredients with water to form tight dough.

Step 4 :

Take the dough and use a sieve to mould the dough into layered concentric circle discs.

Step 5 :

Deep fry the muthsore till it turns golden brown.

Step 6 :

Take it out from the pan and serve fresh. You can use tissue paper to absorb excess oil from the muthsore.
