Veg Schezwan Momos

This is a famous South Asian dumping that is made from maida and mixed vegetables.

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Make a stiff dough with maida and salt, using water. Cover the dough with a damp cloth for 15 minutes.

Step 2 :

Heat oil in a kadhai, add garlic, ginger and saute it well.

Step 3 :

In a mixer, add the vegetables in 2 batches and coarsely grind them for few seconds.

Step 4 :

Add these vegetables in the pan with oil and saute until the vegetables are well cooked.

Step 5 :

Add the sauces and salt, taste to check for spiciness and salt. Set aside the filling to cool down to room temperature.

Step 6 :

Check the dough and divide into small balls and roll it out into small discs.

Step 7 :

Fill the discs with enough filling and shape it as u desire.

Step 8 :

Grease the steam plate with oil and place the momos in it. Steam cook it for 8-10 minutes until the wraps turn transparent.

Step 9 :

Serve it hot with tomato or chilli sauce.
