Chaat is a very famous snack in India, everyone loves chaat. Chola Tikki Chaat is also one of them. Hot and crispy tikki served with chutneys.

Ingredients

2 medium Boiled Potatoes 4 tbsp Bread Crumbs

2 tbsp Corn Flour 0.25 tsp Salt

0.05 Cup Oil 1 Cup Soaked Kabuli Chana

1 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 a pinch of Hing

0.05 Cup Curd 2 tbsp Tamarind Chutney

2 tbsp Coriander Chutney 0.25 tsp Red Chilli Powder

1 tbsp Cumin Powder 1 medium Finely Chopped Onion

1 tbsp Coriander Leaves 0.25 Cup Sev

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

In a mixing bowl, add boiled potatoes, bread crumbs, cornflour and salt, mix it together and make a dough.

Step 2 :

In a pressure cooker add soaked chana, turmeric, hing, salt and water accordingly. Cook for 5-6 whistles.

Step 3 :

Make small round flat tikkis with the dough and keep it aside.

Step 4 :

After releasing the pressure from the pressure cooker open the lid and mash some of the chana and boil this mixture for 5-10 minutes without lid and then let it cool.

Step 5 :

Now in a nonstick pan add some oil and shallow fry the prepared tikkis on slow to medium heat, until golden and crisp.

Step 6 : To assemble the chaat

Take a bowl place 2 tikkis on it and place some cooked kabuli chanas on it.

Step 7 :

Pour 2-3 tbsp curd, 1 tbsp coriander chutney and 1 tbsp tamarind date chutney on it.

Step 8 :

Sprinkle red chilly powder, chaat masala and roasted cumin powder on it.

Step 9 :

Serve it with some chopped onions, sev and coriander leaves.
