Green Gram Soup is a relaxing detox remedy for the body and is simple to prepare.

Step 1 :

Wash and soak the green gram in 2 cups of water for an hour by using hot water for soaking which will speed up the cooking process.

Step 2 :

Drain the grams, return it to the vessel and add 2 cups of fresh water along with ghee, hing, green chillies, ajwain seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, cloves, curry leaves, grated ginger, jaggery and salt.

Step 3 :

Mix the ingredients well and boil it on medium heat for 30 minutes.

Step 4 :

Add the lemon juice and sugar and stir it.

Step 5 :

Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
