Step 1 :

Grease a mould with oil and place a parchment paper. Then grate the jaggery equal to 1/2 cup.

Step 2 :

Add the grated jaggery, curd, and oil in a bowl and whisk properly until the jaggery melts completely.

Step 3 :

Next, sift the Wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda with the help of a sieve.

Step 4 :

Mix all the ingredients and then add milk gradually. The cake batter must be of ribbon consistency.

Step 5 :

Pour the batter into the mould and tap it to remove any air bubbles. Now, add the nuts(optional) on top of the batter and press them so that it they stick to it properly.

Step 6 :

To bake the cake, preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 mins and bake for 30 - 35 mins

Step 7 :

You can check if your cake is done by passing a toothpick into the cake. If the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is ready and if not, bake for 5 - 10 more mins. Let the cake cool at room temperature. Your super healthy wheat jaggery cake is ready !! Enjoy !
