Ingredients

Step 1 :

Steam the basmati rice in water for about 15 mins to cook it 90%.

Step 2 :

Add butter and oil in a pan to cook potatoes. Saute and cook them until they are crisp and brown. Add salt when they are half cooked for flavour. Keep it aside.

Step 3 :

Add butter and oil in a pan to cook onion. Saute and cook them until they are brown. Add salt when they are half cooked for flavour. Keep it aside.

Step 4 :

Add butter, oil, ghee and then jeera.

Step 5 :

Then add green chillies and grated garlic and saute for 2 mins. Then add all the remaining veggies in the pan and saute it for 5 mins to cook them.

Step 6 :

Now add cooked potatoes and onions in the pan and add all the spices, lemon juice and saute for 2 mins.

Step 7 :

Now add steamed rice and mix all ingredients properly.

Step 8 :

Grate the cheese after sprinkling the spring onion and put the rice on low flame and cover it. Cook for around 5 mins .
