In a bowl, mix dry active Yeast with lukewarm milk & honey & set aside for 10 min. Let it activate.

In a mixing bowl take whole wheat flour, ground oats & salt. Mix properly. Now add mashed banana, flaxseed mixture (i.e. ground flaxseed 1 tbsp + water 3 tbsp), honey & activated milk + yeast mixture. Knead the dough for 5 min. Transfer into another bowl. Slather 1 tsp of oil over the dough to keep it from drying out. Cover and let it rest for 1 hr.

Soak the dates into hot water for 30 min.

While the dough is rising, make the filling. Add the soaked dates along with its water into a blender. Blend into a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl. Add cinnamon powder, honey, vanilla essence, and date paste. Mix it all together. Now the filling is ready.

After 1 hour, the dough should be double in size. Grease your kitchen platform or silicone mat with 1 tsp of oil. Roll the dough out into a large circle. Spread the filling all over the circle, pressing it with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle ground pista & ground roasted sesame seeds over the filling. Now roll it from one end to the other to the other with the filling on the inside. Cut this roll into 12 equal pieces using a sharp knife or dental floss.

After 1 hour, the dough should be double in size. Grease your kitchen platform or silicone mat with 1 tsp of oil. Roll the dough out into a large circle. Place all rolls into a greased baking tray. Cover and let it proof for another 45 min.

Pre-heat the oven for 5 min.

Brush the rolls with milk & sprinkle ground pista and some whole sesame seeds on top. Place the tray into the pre-heated oven & bake at 180°C for 20-25 min. Let it cool completely. Now your yummy & healthy Oats Pista Sesame Rolls are ready.
