Papad Makhana Curry with Farsan Paratha

Tried my hand at making the delectable Papad Makhana Dahi Sabji, paired perfectly with crispy Farsan Paratha. This wholesome dish combines the crunch of papad and makhana with the creamy goodness of dahi, creating a symphony of flavours that's hard to resist.

Cooking Steps

Papad Makhana Curry

Step 1 :

Roast papad in a pan with some oil. Break into pieces and keep aside. In a bowl add all the curry mixture ingredients and whisk until smooth.

Step 2 :

In a pan heat oil, now add all the tadka ingredients and sauté for a few seconds.

Step 3 :

Turn the heat to simmer, now add the curd mixture and stir continuously until it comes to a boil and the oil starts separating from it.

Step 4 :

Add water and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add kasoori methi, salt, papad pieces, makhanas and coriander leaves. Mix well and cook for another minute. Curry is ready.

Step 5 :

Place the paratha on tawa and roast it. Then apply ghee and let it cook.

Farsan Paratha

Step 1 :

Knead the dough using the ingredients mentioned above.

Step 2 :

In a bowl add all the stuffing ingredients and keep aside.

Step 3 :

Take a ball of kneaded dough and roll it into a flat roti.

Step 4 :

Place the Farsan filling over it and close it from all sides apply some flour and roll again.

Step 5 :

Farsan Paratha is ready to be served with Papad Makhana Curry.
