This is a Christmas cake in all its glory. It even has a surprise element to it. It's a chocolate cake with an American buttercream frosting.

Christmas Tree Surprise Cake
Step 1 :
Into a bowl, empty a pack of HappyChef chocolate cake mix. Add in 3 eggs and 60ml mix. Give it a good mix. Do not over-mix. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes at 180°C.
Step 2 :
Once out of the oven and cooled, cut the cake into 3 equal layers.
Step 3 :
For the frosting, add 200 grams of butter into a bowl and 2 packs of HappyChef icing sugar. Mix until light and fluffy.
Step 4 :
Divide into 3. Let one be white, the other red by adding red food colour and the last green by adding green food colour.
Step 5 :
Now start stacking the cakes one by one.
Step 6 :
Keep the first cake layer. Add a tiny dollop of red buttercream on top. Outline this with white, then with red, again with white.
Step 7 :
Repeat for all 3 layers. Cover the cake with white frosting.
Step 8 :
Keep half-cut cones on the cake. Frost these with green buttercream to give a tree-like effect. Dust it with happy chef's icing sugar for a snowy effect. Cut into it and enjoy!
