Traditional Indian dessert Rabri is loved by all so gave a healthy innovative twist to Rabri recipe

Steps

Step 1 :

Soak raisins in water and chop them.

Step 2 :

In heavy bottom pan, dry roast oats and keep them aside.

Step 3 :

In same pan, add ghee and add almonds and cashew nuts and fry them and keep aside.

Step 4 :

In same pan, add makhana and roast them for 1-2 minutes till they turn golden brown.

Step 5 :

Take them out. Keep aside 2-3 makhana for garnish and then grind the rest of them

Step 6 :

In other pan, boil milk and keep on boiling till it reduces to half.

Step 7 :

Then add oats, grinded makhanas, sugar and mix it.

Step 8 :

Cook it for another 5-10 minutes till it starts to get thicken.

Step 9 :

Add pistas, raisins, elaichi powder and mix it well.

Step 10 :

Turn off flame and let it cool at room temperature.Once it gets cool, then refrigerate it.

Step 11 : Garnishing

Garnish with makhanas, cashew nuts, raisins and serve cool.

Step 12 : Serving

We can also serve when its hot.
