Pressure cook toordal beans and 1 tomato. While the dal and beans cook grind redchilli, kashmir chilli, mustard, khuskhus, fresh coconut, fried gram, tomato, coriander leaves, turmeric, salt to a fine paste.

After the pressure comes down transfer the dal and beans to a sauce pan and add the ground mixture and bring it to a boil in a low medium flame.

Keep stirring often till the raw smell goes and naligiri is ready to serve. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve.
