Rasam is a favourite south Indian dish which is had along with rice & vegetables. A south Indian three course meal consisting of Sambar, Rasam & curd bath is very nutritious & healthy food for all age groups.

Step 1 :

First take a bowl with 1 litre water and put hing powder, imli, salt, rasam powder, tomatoes, tur dal allow it to boil in small flame for 25 minutes.

Step 2 :

Once the dal gets cooked and the tomato becomes cooked, stir it with fresh half litre water till it boils.

Step 3 :

Then do tadka on it with ghee in which mustard seeds are cooked. Pour it on the Rasam.
