Cheese Idli

This quick cheese layered idli makes for a good breakfast. It is especially loved by kids!

Preparation

Step 1 :

Prepare tadka with mustard, curry leaves and hing and mix with batter. Add salt as per taste.

Step 2 :

Now pour the idli batter in the mould/idli maker plates. Note: Pour only half ladle or half the quantity in the mould.

Step 3 :

Then cut cheese one slice into 4 pieces. Place each piece in the half poured idli batter.

Step 4 :

Then pour little more idli batter on top and steam it as usual.

Step 5 :

After 15 - 20 minutes, yummy cheese idli is ready.

Step 6 :

You can add grated carrot and cabbage if required (optional).

Step 7 :

Decorate it with some grated cheese on top before serving.
