Chicken and potato au gratin is a mouth-watering French recipe. A must for those who crave cheesy and spicy food!

Preparation

Step 1 :

Heat water in a pan with little salt and boil the sliced potatoes for 5 minutes on high flame. Keep the boiled potatoes aside after throwing the water.

Step 2 :

Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Fry onions, green chilli and garlic till the onions become translucent.

Step 3 :

Now add the chicken pieces to the onions and cook till done.

Step 4 :

Next, add soya sauce, black pepper, salt and mix well. Arrange one layer of boiled potatoes in a bakeware and cover it with the white sauce. Next, spread the cooked chicken on the white sauce. Put another layer of boiled potatoes on the chicken and cover with the remaining white sauce.

Step 5 :

Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for 45 minutes at 200-degree Celsius.

Step 6 :

Serve hot.
