It is a very tasty and easy to make snack. This sweet dish is an all time favorite, especially for kids.

Step 1 :

Soak raw rice for 2 hours and grind it smoothly in a wet mixer.

Step 2 :

Add powdered jaggery to the mixer, with water and grind it into a smooth and fine dosa consistency.

Step 3 :

Heat the appam mould skillet and add ghee in it.

Step 4 :

In this mixture, add grated coconut and cardamom powder, mix it well.

Step 5 :

Then, pour one ladle of mixture in the mould and allow it to cook, once done turn it the other side and cook well.

Step 6 :

After it is cooked on both the sides, remove it in a plate. Your freshly home made nei appam is ready.
