Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Wash rice and keep it separately.

Step 2 :

In a pressure cooker, add rice, jaggery and 400 ml water. Close the lid and cook it for 2 whistles.

Step 3 :

Boil the milk in a deep bottom pan and using a ladle, keep stirring the milk at regular intervals.

Step 4 :

You can leave the ladle anchored in the vessel to ensure the milk doesn't over flow.

Step 5 :

When the milk reduces to half of the initial quantity, turn off the gas.

Step 6 :

Now, add this prepared milk to the rice prepared in the pressure cooker.

Step 7 :

Serve it chilled, garnished with cashew nuts!
