This is an Indian delicacy, a dessert known to satisfy the taste buds, especially in summer!

Cooking Steps

Step 1 :

Heat milk in a deep bottom pan.

Step 2 :

Once it boils, take a tbsp of boiled milk and add it to the saffron strands. Now, keep it aside.

Step 3 :

Now, add the cream to the milk, stir it well and cook it on medium-high flame until it reduces to half, most probably for about 30 minutes.

Step 4 :

Once it reduces to half, add the chopped nuts and sugar. Stir well and cook it for another 5 minutes.

Step 5 :

Switch off the flame, add the cardamom pods to it and let it cool to room temperature.

Step 6 :

Pour the milk mixture in the kulfi moulds and freeze it for 5-6 hours. You can insert popsicle sticks after 2-3 hours.

Step 7 :

Take the kulfi moulds out of the freezer, using a butter knife loosen the edges, once done gently pull it out. Serve and enjoy.
