Lamb Pie

A sumptuous Indo-American fusion of macaroni, cheese, egg and lamb mince!

Preparation

Step 1 :

In a pressure cooker on medium heat, add cooking oil. Once it's hot, add finely chopped onions. Let it turn brown.

Step 2 :

After 10 minutes, add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.

Step 3 :

Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, washed lamb mince. Mix it thoroughly and cover for 10 minutes. Thereafter, pressure cook it for another 20 minutes.

Step 4 :

Let the pressure come down and then open and add the peas and macaroni. Add some water if required. Check the seasoning and cook till the peas and macaroni are soft. Strain the extra water if any.

Step 5 :

After that, take a baking tray and grease it.

Step 6 :

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degree Celsius. Mix in eggs with the lamb mince and put in the baking tray. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.

Step 7 :

Check with a fork if it is cooked. Garnish with lemon wedges and coriander leaves.

Step 8 :

Cut the pie and serve hot!
