Cardamom & Rose Mozzarella Muhalabia

Dainty little phyllo cups filled cheesy, silky, rosy goodness, perfect for a high tea!

Cooking Steps

Phyllo cups

Step 1 :

Cut out small circles with the help of a cookie cutter. Butter two pieces and stick them together. Place them into a mini cupcake pan and bake until lightly golden. Remove and cool.

Mahalabia

Step 1 :

Add a little milk to the sugar and corn flour and whisk until smooth.

Step 2 :

Add the remaining milk, cardamom syrup, rose water and Britannia mozzarella cheese and keep whisking on medium heat until it thickens . It would take around 6-7 mins to get a custard-like thick consistency.

Step 3 :

After it cools down, fill the phyllo cups with this mixture and garnish with slivered pistachios and dried rose petals.
