Avalakki cake is my creation to make my children eat healthy and delicious confectionary rather than bringing it from the market. Made with simple and healthy ingredients from my kitchen.

Cooking Steps
Avalakki Cake with Jaggery Sauce & Coconut Cream
Step 1 :
For the cake base, warm up the milk. Meanwhile, heat a tbsp of ghee in a pan. Saute in the poha until golden. Now add in the warm milk and mix well. Cover and cook until the poha soaks all the milk. Add in half a cup of jaggery and elaichi powder. Mix well and set aside. Set in a small aluminium tray. Cut square pieces.
Step 2 :
For the jaggery sauce, warm 1 cup coconut milk along with the jaggery. Reduce until thick.
Step 3 :
For coconut cream, reduce coconut cream and malai with half a tbsp of sugar until saucy. Add in the chopped nuts of your choice. Refrigerate.
Step 4 :
Spread the prepared coconut cream at the base. Put a piece of avalakki cake. Drizzle over some jaggery sauce and garnish with fried Banana.
